After an injury riddled spring Patrick Prescott found his place at the front of the pack during this weekends MMS race at Hemond’s Motocross Park. Despite a hard get off in practice that resulted in Pat missing his 85 C moto, he come out swinging in moto one of the 65 C class. After two laps of running in second and pushing for the lead he went over the bars yet again and by the time he got the bike started he had been passed by the entire pack. In just over a lap he made the comeback ride of the day by making pass after pass to finish the moto in 4th. He managed a consistent ride in his 65 Open moto crossing the line in 5th after moto 1.

Going into the afternoon motos Patrick really found his speed when he just barely missed the holeshot in the 65 C class and rode his KTM to a second place finish. The 4-2 moto scores would put him in 2nd overall for the day in the 65 C class. He did not stop there as he set the bar even higher with a 4th place moto finish in the Open class giving him a 4th overall.

Patrick is finding his groove just in time for a busy late summer schedule. Next up is the Maine Motocross Series race at MX-207 which leads right into the Vurb Classic. Patrick will be chasing down some “hired guns” in hopes of a championship.
