The 2016 racing season was starting to look bleak for Reid Lanpher and his #59 Late Model racing team. His first five starts resulted in mechanical failures or a wreck. Luck was not on the teams side going into the first NASCAR Pro Series of the season at Beach Ridge Motor Speedway.

Reid came out swinging putting his car in the front spot during practice. He would go on to win the heat race after a P5 start. That would set him up for a P2 start in the feature. Reid would take his first win of the year taking the checkered flag with more than a straightaway’s lead.

“It felt pretty good to get out of our slump.. It was a memorable night for sure.” – Reid Lanpher

Reid and his crew have the Team EJP Racing, Mission Trailers, Ouellet Construction, scottsrecreation.com, docks.com Super Late Model going good and hope to continue this good luck into the rest of the 2016 season!
