It has been a long spring for the orange Team EJP Racing bikes as they try to get back to the from of the pack. Flashes of brilliance have appeared randomly throughout the early part of the summer, but this past weekends Maine Series event in Minot Maine finally allowed for the team to put up good results.

Lane Shorey was on fire throughout the day, scoring a 1-1 moto score in the Open B to bring home the W. In the 450 B class Lane went up against Connor Rowe who is currently one of the strongest amateur competitors in New England. Strong starts would give Lane chances to do battle with the 722, but at the end of the day he did not have enough to get the job done, and left the track going 2-2 for second overall.

On the 85, Patrick Prescott started the day out with a holeshot and continued the trend of good starts through all of his motos. This time the #199 did not fade and limited his mistakes, keeping him towards the front of the pack. He would consistently finish 3-3 in the 85 C and 4-4 in the Supermini class for a 3rd, and 4th overall.

Team EJP left the track with 1, 2, 3, 4 overall finishes and now is set to compete in the Maine State Championship this weekend in Lyman Maine. All sights are set on capitalizing on the teams confidence coming off this past weekend, and turning that into a championship.
