As the 2015 season winds down Team EJP’s Patrick Prescott continues to gain speed. The team rolled into MX-207 October 4th for NESC’s 10th round of the Fall series. The NESC circuit always attracts some of New England’s fastest riders.
Patrick’s first 85 moto set the bar for what would be a very successful day of racing. The #199 went into the first turn in the lead, and never looked back taking the win in moto one. Moto 2 looked like it would have the same result but when leading into the first tight MX-207 turn he would go down. Patrick picked the bike up, and started making passes until he eventually made a last lap pass for the lead only to fall again in the same turn. Again, he remounted and crossed the line in 2nd for the overall win. The supermini class had much less drama as Pat rode smooth for a 2-2 moto score to leave the track in 2nd overall.
October 11th was in the schedule as a weekend off for Patrick but instead of relaxing, he decided to go racing. Back 40 MX has been hosting a local series in 2015 and acted as a great venue for Pat to keep his speed up. Patrick would win the 85 class with a 2-1 and go 2-2 for 2nd overall in the supermini.
Next the team plans to compete at a few of the bigger New England events including Wareham MX and Southwick MA to wrap up the season.
