After a day of practice at Beach Ridge Motor Speedway Lanpher made the last minute decision to head over to Oxford Plains Speedway to compete in the 50-lap Super Late Model main event. It would turn out to be a decision he would not regret. After a P-18 start, Reid drove his bent up car through the pack to find himself in the lead when the checkers flew.

“Lanpher chased Davis until they were second and third in the running order, then drove around with just a few laps remaining to claim his first Super Late Model win at the historic oval.” –

Lanpher posted on his Facebook page – “Can’t thank my crew enough for putting a rocket under me and my sponsors for making it possible!!”

The motocross team headed west over the weekend to race the Loretta Lynn’s Area Qualifier in Winchester NH. It would mark Lane Shorey’s first big race as an A rider.

Lane Shorey quickly found his place amongst the stiff competition and rode strong throughout the weekend. Patrick Prescott too was up against some of the fastest rider in the region. Although both Team EJP riders were not racing to qualify, Patrick would manage to finish inside the qualifying positions and only got stronger as the weekend drew on. Lane would a DNS in the 250A paired with his moto one finish of 13th, and a 13-9 for 9th overall on Saturday and would end his weekend going 11-13 for 11th overall in the two stroke class on Sunday. Pat went 8-9 for 8th overall in the senior mini 1 class, and 18-16 for 16 overall in the supermini class on Saturday. On Sunday he would place 10-9 for 9th in senior mini 2, and 9-9 for 9th in the supermini.
