Patrick Prescott has broken his scapula and will be out for 3-6 weeks.

The saying goes, “If your not crashing, your not trying hard enough!” Well, everyone on Team EJP is trying as hard as they can to go fast this season. Lane Shorey started the spring on rails and along his road to Loretta’s had a stroke of bad luck that put him out with a broken femur. Just weeks after Patrick Prescott found his top gear on the 65 and began to focus his speed on the 85. Unfortunately it seemed to be a little too much, too fast for the young #199. Pat went down on lap 2 of his frist 85 C moto on a muddy MX-207 which resulted in a broken scapula.

All of the bad luck with the Moto team has gone hand in hand with how Reid Lanpher’s summer has been going in the car. After a great start to the season Ried’s last few visits down south have resulted in rain delays, DNF’s, and DNS’s. He hopes to turn that streak around this weekend as he heads to Hickory Motor Speedway for the first time in his career.
