The EJP Racing motocross team is young. 2012 marked the first year that multiple riders were sitting under the EJP tent and that investment has paid off with a lot of hardware. During a season of ups and downs, victories and injuries, Team EJP ended strong with 2 Championships, a top 3, and a top 5 overall in the Maine Motocross Series.

Patrick Prescott over came a mid season shoulder injury to come back strong with great showings at the final two rounds. The 199 had a great ride at MX 207 as he went 3-4 for 3rd overall in 65C class and 4-5 for 5th overall in 65 open class. The following weekend was the final round at Hemond’s Motocross Park. The skies opened up with rain and forced the track to run a one moto format. This worked in Patrick’s favor as he was able to take home two 3rd place finishes and end the season with a 3rd and 4th overall in points.

Lane Shorey hasn’t lost a single moto in the last 2 weekends of racing, resulting in two Championships to finish off the season. Rain or shine, the 141 ride has proven to be unshakable.

The team will race a limited schedule this fall and focus their energy on the 2013 season. The future is bright for the EJP Motocross team, and we are all ready to see what’s next.
