Unfortunately, the sport of motocross has a very large downside. Injuries happen to even the most solid riders and during Andy’s trip to Iceland the injury bug bit him as well. During an early morning training session he lost the front end in a corner and landed awkwardly on his right hand. The result of the crash put him in emergency surgery to repair the damage. His latest updates from doctors has him “on the couch” well into August. Mathieu has set his focus on getting Patrick Prescott up to speed for the 2018 season.

Reid Lanpher’s return to the banks of Bristol was worth the trip. Reid had the crew and the speed to run up front but unfortunately could not crack the top 10. He settled for 11th and will set his sight on the next K&N Series race. The following weekend Reid raced a double header with a 2nd place finish in the THE BUDWEISER Oxford Championship Series season opener.

Reid’s luck would change direction a bit on Sunday during the PASS HONEY BADGER BAR & GRILL 150 when he got collected in a wreck on lap 5. The incident would put him a lap down and despite an impressive drive back to 6th, a 1 lap penalty would put him in 14th overall.
